Ian has a natural affinity with dogs. He takes the time to truly understand each dog he works with as an individual, with unique needs, traits & characteristics.
I have seen dogs under his care with issues, including anxiety, fear, aggression, shyness, reactivity & overly-energetic, being transformed into confident, happy, obedient, relaxed dogs.
Ian’s approach is always filled with patience, kindness & a genuine love for all animals. He gives clear advice & sets owners up with a plan & techniques to continue the training at home; thereby enhancing the bond, understanding & love between owner & dog.
Probably Ian’s greatest success story is his own dog, Bjorn. American Akitas are notoriously temperamental & difficult to handle. Ian’s dedication, commitment & love for Bjorn have helped him to become social, obedient , loyal, fun, happy, self-assured, and he just so happens to like cats! Attached are photos of my (overly skittish) cat Rafa walking with Bjorn. ‘The Odd Couple’!
